Anne Oxley - Artist

Based in Scarborough,I've always had a desire to draw.  Being mainly self taught, I used to paint as a hobby.  I began to attend local craft fairs and started selling a few originals but it wasn't until 2013 that the opportunity arose to make it my full time career.  I've painted many local scenes up and down the Yorkshire Coast and inland too.  From Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, Scarborough,  Filey,  Bridlington and further afield towards York.  Painting mainly in watercolours and sometimes acrylics.  While I have a particular interest in painting architecture , I also love to paint animals, wildlife, birds & vehicles.  More recently I've started painting a range of flowers as well as a range of original watercolours suitable for nursery's or children's bedrooms.
