New Puffin Paintings Fresh from the Easel
8th September 2026
I've recently been busy creating a series of new small canvas acrylic paintings featuring one of my favourite coastal birds, the puffin.
These cheerful little seabirds are always a pleasure to paint, and this latest collection celebrates them in a variety of coastal scenes inspired by the rugged beauty of Britain's shoreline. From windswept cliffs to colourful seaside settings, each painting aims to capture the charm and character that make puffins so special.
Working on smaller canvases has allowed me to explore new ideas while creating original paintings that are ideal for smaller spaces or as unique gifts for wildlife and coastal art lovers.
I'm excited to share these new pieces with you and hope you'll enjoy viewing them as much as I've enjoyed painting them.

Anne Oxley Art
2024
I can hardly believe it's already 22nd March, and it'll soon be Easter. I have been very busy so far this year with orders and preparing for the first fairs of 2024. We all love to receive feedback from our work and I received these lovely little reviews from orders end of last year and from earlier this year.
Hand painted bookmarks
I have recently started a new line in hand painted bookmarks. Previously all my bookmarks were designed and printed by myself from my original paintings, I would them laminate the bookmark, they did prove popular on my craft stalls.
Finished Bookmarks
I have now finished a selection of my bookmarks, some of them are for my upcoming craft fairs in Filey . (See the" about" section of my website for details of upcoming craft fairs for 2022. You will also find a couple of the above bookmarks for sale at my online shop at
This week in my studio
After another busy craft fair last weekend at Filey Arts& Craft Festival, it's therefore been a busy week in my studio painting. Creating new designs and restocking up on sold original hand painted greetings cards, gift tags and my new bookmarks.
Busy end to 2022 and new work for 2023
Sorry for not posting for several months, from August last year I was very busy preparing for Christmas and the fairs I attended were very popular, which resulted in loads of creative painting and restocking.
